Q. Are the designs shown on this website the only ones available?A. No, in addition to the designs seen here we can fabricate or replicate nearly any design.
Q. Can I submit my own idea for fabrication?
A. Yes, we welcome custom ideas and look forward to seeing your designs.
Q. Will these screens fit any size opening?
A. Just about...there are certain fireplace openings which may require templates which are more difficult to create. If you are unsure about whether or not these screens will fit in a particular location, simply submit a digital photograph of your fireplace and a staff member can help you determine your best choice of screen.
Q. What finishes are available?
A. All of our standard finishes can be seen here.
Q. Are these fireplace screens heavy duty?
A. Yes...these screens are hand-forged wrought iron pieces. They are constructed of solid steel stock and substantial in weight and feel.
Q. Do these screens include mesh?
A. Yes...unless specifically requested without mesh, we use a steel mesh in all our screens.
Q. Can I install these screens or do I need to hire a professional?
A. Most DIY homeowners can install these screens without problem.
Q. What tools are necessary to install these screens?
A. Most screens can be installed with the following list of tools: hammer drill (with 3/8" masonry bit), a 1/2" socket or 1/2" wrench or adjustable wrench, hammer, and a small level (torpedo level).
Q. What if my fireplace has an opening that is not square or rectangular?
A. Certain shaped fireplaces and/or mounting styles require the client to provide a template for us to fabricate from. If you are unsure about whether or not a template is required, simply submit a digital photograph of your fireplace and a staff member can help you determine whether or not it is necessary.
Q. How will my fireplace screen be shipped?
A. Most screens will ship via Fed Ex Freight or common carrier.
Q. If I am unhappy with my screen can I return it?
A. Returns are only allowed if you are unsatisfied with the quality of our workmanship. Otherwise, all sales are final. Returns due to poor choice in design will not be allowed. Returns due to improper measuring on the client's part will not be allowed.
Q. How long will it take to receive my screen?
A. All our screens are made to order and carry a lead time of 6-8 weeks. Lead times begin upon receipt of deposit.
